2. What data we may collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect data entered in forms, partner/collaborator details, technical access data, language and cookie preferences, consent records and correspondence sent to the administrator.

3. Processing purposes and legal bases

  • Replying to requests: to process forms and messages sent by users.
  • Visitor requests: to forward the request to the relevant partner/owner when the request concerns a listing or local service.
  • Listing administration: to publish, update and manage public profiles.
  • Commercial promotion services: for communication, offers, contracting, invoicing and operational records.
  • Security and legal obligations: to prevent spam/abuse and meet applicable obligations.

Legal bases may include performance of a request/contract, legitimate interest, consent and applicable legal obligations.

4. Data transfer to partners

Important: If a user sends a request for accommodation, activity, restaurant or local service, the information entered in the form may be forwarded to the relevant listed partner/operator so that the request can be answered.
  • The transfer is limited to data needed to process the request.
  • The partner receiving the request is responsible for its own reply, offer, conditions, booking and any subsequent processing performed in its own name.
  • If the user does not want the request forwarded to partners, they can use the general contact form or request an answer only from the platform administrator.

LacColibita.ro does not confirm bookings in its own name and currently does not collect advance payments from visitors for partner services.

5. Technical providers and recipients

Data may be accessible, to the extent necessary, to hosting, email, security, IT maintenance, accounting, online service processors or public authorities where a legal obligation exists.

6. Retention period

Requests/contact data are usually kept for 12-24 months unless a longer period is necessary. Partner/listing, fiscal, contractual, technical logs and cookie preferences are retained according to operational, legal and security requirements.

7. Cookies, analytics, maps and embeds

Strictly necessary cookies may be used for website operation. Analytics, marketing, maps, video/embed or external-service cookies are activated only according to the user’s preferences, where integrated on the site. Details: Cookie policy.

8. Rights of data subjects
